Summer!

Believe it or not, the first day of summer has an element that makes it one of the saddest days of the year for me.  The days start getting shorter!  Boohoo.

I get up very early for work and this time of year it is before sunrise, but already light.  Since today is the longest day of the year, I opened all the blinds at the front of the house so I could watch the sun rise.  Beautiful!

(Sorry about the campground in the neighbor's front yard.  Doesn't do much for property values in the neighborhood, does it?)
