Today I was reading the Life as Mom blog and came across
Jessica's suggestion to plan for after-school snacks. I typically have three somethings waiting on the kitchen counter for the girls to eat when they get home, since I am working at that time. That way they can help themselves right away and not have to wait for me. Anyway, Jessica happened to post a picture of her children's snack and I realized I had everything needed to make it for the girls.
There was air-popped corn, dried apricots, and dried cranberries waiting for the girls when they got home and they ate all of it and told me it was a very good snack. Score one for Mommy.
